STATESBORO, Ga. – South Carolina shot its best team round of the week on Sunday, but the Gamecocks were unable to move up the leaderboard as they finished 10th at the Schenkel E-Z-GO Invitational. The Gamecocks shot 292 (+4) on Sunday to post a three-day total of 878 (+14).

George Bryan IV and Paul Woodbury tied for 15th place individually at 217 (+1) for the week. Bryan IV had the team’s low round Sunday with a 71 (-1) while Woodbury posted a 73 (+1). Bryan IV went 35-36 on the day with two birdies and a bogey on his front nine, then made bogey at the first (his 10th) to drop back to even. But a birdie at his closing hole put him in red numbers for the first time this week. Woodbury had a three-birdie, four-bogey day to wrap up a second straight strong week.

Wesley Bryan and Clint Tolleson tied for 48th place at 7-over par; Tolleson shot 73 (+1) to wrap up his week while Bryan posted a final-round 76 (+4). Patrick Rada finished with a 75 (+3) on Sunday, his best round of the week.

Auburn rallied in the final round to earn their first 54-hole tournament victory of the season with a 291 in the final round for team total of 862 (-2). North Florida, the leader after two rounds, saw a 7-stroke lead evaporate with a 299 (+11) on Sunday as they finished second, one shot behind the Tigers. Individually, Ole Miss’ Jonathan Randolph won a three-way playoff to take medalist honors as he tied Hunter Hamrick (Alabama) and Jordan Gibb (North Florida) for the title at 211 (-5).

South Carolina will play its third tournament in three weeks next Sunday through Tuesday at the Hootie at Bulls Bay Intercollegiate in Awendaw, S.C.
