Columbia, S.C. – Three former University of South Carolina men’s golfers are finding success in the professional golf circuit. Kyle Thompson, Brett Quigley, and Carl Paulson have each posted top 15 finishes in various tournaments this year. Quigley and Paulson are competing on the PGA Tour while Thompson is playing on the Nationwide Tour.

Thompson recorded his best finish on the Nationwide Tour with a 16-under-par second place finish at the BMW Charity Pro-Am at the Cliffs in Greenville, S.C. Thompson, a three-time All-American at USC, is currently sixth on the Nationwide Tour’s money list. The top 20 money winners at the end of the year receive a PGA Tour Card. Thompson’s next event will be the Virginia Beach Open, May 12-18, at the TPC of Virginia Beach.

Quigley, a 1991 All-American, had his best finish of the year when he tied for eighth place at the Honda Classic with a 20-under-par score.

Paulson finished tied for 15th at the Sony Open with a four-day total of eight-under-par. Paulson was a 1993 All-American.
