Columbia, S.C. – The University of South Carolina men’s golf team signed two recruits for the Fall of 2002. Norwegian Eirik Johansen will join the Gamecocks in August.

The three-time Norwegian junior champion, Johansen, averaged 71.67 in 2001. ?During the 2001 season, Johansen won the SAS Invitational and finished second in the MGA Junior Golf Championships and Junior Masters Invitational. ?Johansen won the Club Champion four consecutive years (1998-2001).
