USC Cross Country heads to The Great American Race|

Columbia, S.C. - The Gamecock Cross Country team will travel to Cary, N.C. this Saturday, Sept. 24 for The Great American meet that is set to begin at 4 p.m.
USC finished 15th last season ahead of SEC rival Alabama with Rebecca Chain, South Carolina's top runner, finishing with a time of 19:31.
The annual competition showcases some of the country's top-ranked collegiate cross country programs.
The 6K course is located at the SAS Soccer Park, which includes a dramatic start down a quarter mile incline, followed with a path through the woods, up hills and ending with a stadium finish.
