Gamecocks Set For Queens Royal Challenge, NCAA Preview Meet

Meets are final preparation for the SEC Championship

Whitley joins the Gamecocks as a freshman with a passion for long distance running. She ran three years on her high school's varsity cross country and track teams. She participated in other sports, such as swimming and soccer, but primarily focused on running. Whitley was captain of both the cross country team and track team all three years she participated. Her 5K PR is 19:19.

Whitley plans to major in international business with focuses in Chinese and fashion merchandising while attending South Carolina. When she isn't running or studying, Allie likes to spend time reading books about dragons and other mystical entities. She will be missed while away at college by her parents, Robbin and Charlie Whitely, and her brother Parker.
