After experiencing injuries in high school, Aloiya hopes for a healthy four years as a Gamecock. The experience she brings to the team will be very beneficial. She earned a total of seven varsity letters (cross country and track) in high school, serving as team captain four times and earning academic all-state honors as a sophomore. She was a two-time champion in the crawl up the gigantic Sleeping Bear Dune at cross country camp. She was featured in "Got Milk?" ads in ESPN Magazine and USA Today. She also lettered in volleyball in 2007.

Aloiya served as the National Honor Society President, newspaper editor-in-chief and an Outstanding Senior. Aloiya enjoys volleyball, exercising and music. She was Prom Queen in 2008. Her parents are Scott and Jennifer Earl and Jim and Cathi Muncy.
