We move to the freshmen as we start the downhill trek in our series. Christina Vereb talks about her favorite athlete and her abilities off the court.

Who is your favorite teammate? Why?
Taylor Bruns because she is caring and loving, and she is also aggressive on the court.

If you could travel anywhere on the planet, where would you go?
Hungary because that is where my dad is from and I really want to go see his home.

What was the best movie you saw this summer?
Transformers.

If you could be a character in any movie, who would you be?
The guy in Never Back Down because he is pretty awesome.

What's your best non-athletic talent?
I am really good at art.

Do you have any pre-game or in-game rituals?
I wear a really thick white headband all the time in games.

What one word would you use to describe your style of play?
Intense.

What's the one thing you can't leave without on a road trip?
My phone.

What's your biggest pet peeve?
When people send me the same text message like three times.

You list Jerome Bettis as your favorite athlete. What makes you admire him?
He was intense on the field, loving and caring off of it and a good leader.
