2004 CROSS COUNTRY: Was lead runner and finished cross country career as top runner on the team at every meet for the third year in a row... Finished in top three in four of the five regular season meets, including a win in the season opener USC Invitational... Followed victory with back-to-back second-place efforts at Clemson and Winthrop... Finished third at the Auburn University Invitational for her fourth top-three finish of the year...Placed 23rd at the SEC championships with a time of 21:59 in the 6k run and 34th at NCAA Southeast Regionals with a time of 21:23.
2004: As a junior Lake finished ninth in the mile at the Kentucky Invitational ... At the SEC Invitational in Gainesville Lake placed eighth in the mile and fifth in the 3000m with a time of 10:18.53 ... Finished fisrt in the 5000m at the Gator Invitational ... Placed eighth in the 3000m and fifth in the 5000m at the Meet of Champions in New York ... At the SEC Championships in Kentucky Lake finished ninth in the 5000m ... Outdoors, at the Weems Baskin Relays finished third in the 800m and first in the 1500m with a time of 4:38.94 ...At the Florida Relays placed fourth in the 5000m ... 2003 CROSS COUNTRY: Placed seventh at the SEC Championships in Athens, Ga. ... Her seventh place finish is the best ever by a USC runner ... Earned first-team All-SEC ... Placed 10th in the mile run at the SEC Championships with a time of 5:00.65, the fastest time on the team and No. 6 on the USC all-time mile list ... Finished seventh in the 3000m run at the Five Way SEC Meet and placed sixth in the mile run ... Outdoors, won the 1,500m run at the Weems Baskin Sprint Relays ...
