Four Gamecocks Ranked In Latest ITA Polls

COLUMBIA, S.C. -- South Carolina women’s tennis has two singles and two doubles tandems ranked in the latest Oracle ITA Collegiate Tennis Division I National Singles and Doubles Rankings on Wednesday. Megan Davies and Hadley Berg earned a ranking in singles, while the pairs of Davies and Silvia Chinellato as well as Berg and Rachel Rohrabacher are ranked in doubles.

In singles, Berg checks in at No. 43 while Davies finds herself at No. 105. In doubles, Berg and Rohrabacher come in at No. 33 while Davies and Chinellato earned a No. 48 ranking.

During the fall season, Berg posted an impressive 10-1 record with four of the wins coming against ranked opponents. Davies, a freshman, earned a 12-3 record that included a win over Wake Forest’s Emma Davies, who finds herself ranked at No. 46.

As for doubles, Berg and Rohrabacher posted a 3-1 record with a win over the No. 38-ranked doubles pair. Davies and Chinellato secured a 9-3 record, including an impressive win over the No. 8-ranked doubles tandem.
