2005-06 (JUNIOR): Went 11-8 in singles after missing the entire fall with an injury ... Was 10-10 in doubles and 9-9 for dual matches with the majority of her work coming at the No. 3 position ... Tallied three consecutive wins to open the spring against foes from College of Charleston, Davidson and Furman ... Lost only eight games between the three matches ... Gradually worked her way up from No. 6 singles to be South Carolina's regular at the No. 4 slot ... Won four of her first five matches in SEC play ... The first was a 7-6(1), 6-0 defeat of Stephanie Harris from Tennessee ... Did not drop a game in her victory over Auburn's Tori Almagno ... Capped off a three-match winning streak with a 6-2, 6-2 triumph over Alabama's Natalie McElveen ... Won a key match over Preethi Subramanian from Mississippi in the first round of the SEC Tournament by scores of 6-4, 7-6(6) ... USC lost the doubles point to the Rebels, but Gutierrez helped the Gamecocks rally for a 4-1 victory ... Had several doubles partners, including Grace Blakely, Laura Ganzer, Christyn Lucas and Megan McGavock.

2004-05 (SOPHOMORE): Tallied a 20-15 record overall in singles while posting a 14-19 doubles mark ... Won her respective singles flight at the Southern Intercollegiate in October by defeating Lauren Osborne from Furman 6-0, 6-0 ... Played a major role in the spring because of injuries affecting players at the top of the lineup ... Moved up a spot to No. 3 singles, where she went 7-4 with the four losses coming to players who were ranked in the national top 100 ... At her usual spot of No. 4 singles, she went 5-3 and also played one match at No. 2 singles ... Had a five-match winning streak in the spring that included a trio of victories that came in three sets ... At one point, she won 12 of 15 matches ... Went 7-4 in SEC contests with triumphs over Arkansas, Kentucky, Vanderbilt, Alabama, Auburn, Tennessee and Mississippi ... Won her singles and doubles matches in USC's first-round NCAA match with Nebraska to help the Gamecocks extend their streak of opening-round wins to 12 ... Played at all three doubles spots in the spring ... Made the Athletics Director's Honor Roll for the spring semester.

2003-04 (FRESHMAN): Went 18-8 in singles, playing the majority of the dual season at No. 4 singles ... Went an impressive 18-4 in doubles play, which included a perfect 7-0 slate in tournaments ... Won the consolation draw of her respective singles flight at the SEC Coaches Fall Classic by defeating Alabama's Nathalie Koppelle in the final 6-0, 7-6(5) ... Battled injuries throughout the season but came back to help lead USC to a first-round win over Wake Forest in the 2004 NCAA Tournament ... Missed nine matches due to a broken bone in her foot ... Was 3-1 in SEC matches with the one loss coming to Vanderbilt ... Her league victories were against Arkansas, LSU and Kentucky ... Was a tough out at No. 3 doubles with teammate Ayako Suzuki, as the pair went 9-4 ... Overall, Gutierrez was 10-4 at the position ... Earned a spot on the Athletics Director's Honor Roll during the fall semester.

HIGH SCHOOL: Ranked 12th in the nation in the 16s ... Won the Gatorade Will to Win Athlete Award and the Andres Garcia Memorial Tennis Award ... Tabbed MVP and she received the Coaches Award for her high school tennis team ... First-team all-county in Hillsborough and named the 2003 Hillsborough County Player of the Year ... Was the 2003 high school state champion in Florida.

PERSONAL: Is majoring in business management and marketing ... Her birthday is Oct. 19, 1985 ... Alan and Mary Jane Gutierrez are her parents ... Nickname is "Roo-Roo."
