South Carolina Softball Hosts Eight Fall Games in 2010

COLUMBIA, S.C. - The South Carolina softball team begins its fall slate of eight exhibitions this Fri., Sept. 17, with a single exhibition against Spartanburg Methodist. First pitch for the contest is set for 7 p.m.

That game begins the slate that takes place over four weekends, the rest of which come in October. The Gamecocks face Florida State College of Jacksonville and Charlotte at 4 and 8 p.m., respectively, on Fri., Oct. 1, before a doubleheader with Lander that starts at 1 p.m. on Sat., Oct. 2. USC Aiken comes to Beckham Field for a doubleheader on Fri., Oct. 8, at 5 p.m. before the grand finale. South Carolina will take on the All-Stars of National Pro Fastpitch on Fri., Oct. 22, to conclude the schedule.

Admission is free for the first seven games. Single tickets to the contest against the NPF All-Stars start at $5 for adults and $3 for children. Groups of 15 or more can get tickets for $1 per person. Fans who purchase a season ticket for the 2011 campaign, $25 for adults and $10 for children, will get the NPF All-Stars vs. South Carolina ticket in their package.
