COLUMBIA, S.C. - Laura Mendes from the South Carolina softball team has been named AgSouth Athlete of the Week.

Mendes when 10-for-19 on the week with three doubles, a triple and a homer among her 10 hits. She also tallied 10 RBI on the week.
