Volunteer Assistant

Matt Stewart joined the Gamecocks staff in the fall of 2016 as the program's volunteer assistant coach, assisting in all facets of the program.

Stewart comes to Columbia after spending the past three seasons with Florida, where he served as a manager for two NCAA Championship teams while working as a graduate assistant last year. He helped in both capacities with workouts, scouting reports and more for the Gators. He also served as co-coordinator of the Gators' summer camps the past two summers, which worked with over 140 participants each year. He also spent time as an operations intern with Florida in the fall of 2014.

He earned his bachelors and masters at Florida in sport management.
