Description
The Development Skills Goalkeeper Academy offers a highly competitive training atmosphere for goalkeepers to develop their technical skills and be challenged in tactical game-related situations. Goalkeepers will be introduced to instructional practice sessions that will include the following topics: footwork, shot stopping, dealing with crosses and service, 1v1 situations, and distribution. The Developmental Skills GK camp is run in conjunction with the Developmental Skills field player camp, giving goalkeepers the opportunity to apply their developed skills in daily 6 v 6, 8 v 8, and 11 v 11 competitions.

Teams:
This is a great camp for Academy Level Soccer teams. Teams will be able to train together during the daily training sessions and will then compete against other teams (Camp Teams & Academy Teams) in the evening. This is a great way for young teams to bond both on and off the field. Goalkeepers will train separate from the field players and will rejoin their teams at the end of each training session and for their nightly matches.
