Gamecocks to Begin Spring Soccer Play Friday

COLUMBIA, S.C. - The South Carolina women's soccer team has announced an eight-game spring schedule that includes home dates against in-state rivals The Citadel and College of Charleston.

To kickoff the season, the Gamecocks will host the Citadel in a home contest against The Citadel on Friday Feb. 8 at 6 p.m. The game will be held at Stone Stadium. On Saturday, Feb 23, South Carolina will play College of Charleston and Georgia State in Stone Stadium. The Gamecocks then host a midweek game against the CESA boys at 6:30 p.m on Wed., March 8.

After taking a week off for spring break, the Gamecocks will travel to a CESA event to play the Davidson Bulldogs and another opponent that is to be determined. Stone Stadium will host a full day of soccer again on Sunday, April 7 with games against Coastal Carolina and Charlotte.

The annual Alumni Game will be played Saturday, April 13 at 11 a.m. at Stone Stadium.

Wednesday, March 6 - vs. CESA boys (6:30pm)
Saturday, March 23 - at CESA event vs. Davidson (TBA) and TBD
Sunday, April 7 - vs. Charlotte (12pm); vs. Coastal Carolina (3pm) Charlotte vs. Coastal Carolina at 1:30pm
