Suzie Lee Advances to Match Play at Publinks
Will face Oklahoma's Ellen Mueller in first round

NOTRE DAME, Ind. - South Carolina women's golf signee Suzie Lee tied for 38th place in the stroke play portion of the U.S. Women's Amateur Public Links Championship, advancing to the match play portion of the event being held at the Warren Golf Club at the University of Notre Dame.

Lee posted rounds of 73-75=148 (+6) to make the cut by four shots, giving the Gamecocks a representative in the match play portion of the event for the second straight year. Last year, Taylor Barrett and Katie Burnett both advanced to the second round of match play.

The incoming freshman from Long Island, N.Y., will face University of Oklahoma junior Ellen Mueller in her first-round match, which is set to begin at 11:09 a.m. Wednesday. Live scoring and full coverage is available at www.uswapl.org.
