Rada, Barrett Named to SEC Community Service Team

Rada, a native of Anderson, S.C., is a repeat member of the SEC Community Service Team having been so honored in 2009. He has helped with a free youth clinic at The First Tee of Columbia and volunteered at the Daybreak Pregnancy Center. He has also volunteered with Special Olympic programs. He is a mentor to students and athletes at his high school alma mater (T.L. Hanna HS) and leads Bible study for the Carolina golf team each week. Rada is also a nominee for the SEC's H. Boyd McWhorter Post-Graduate Scholarship.
Barrett is a native of York, S.C., and she is making her first appearance on the SEC Community Service Team. She has worked with The First Tee of Columbia, running free youth golf clinics on Saturday mornings in the fall and helped with junior golf clinics in her hometown during the summer. She has helped a group from her church with a cleanup effort at a local elementary school and worked with the Oliver Gospel Mission on Thanksgiving with their annual meal for the homeless. She has also participated in the SEC's "Together We Can" food drive.
The Southeastern Conference sponsors Community Service Teams in all 20 sports. The Community Service Team looks to highlight student-athletes from the SEC who gives back to their communities in superior service efforts.
