COLUMBIA, S.C. -- The South Carolina women's golf team climbed into the top 25 in both the Golfstat and Golfweek rankings after finishing in sixth place over the weekend in the Bryan National Collegiate.

The Gamecocks are ranked No. 24 in this week's Golfstat NCAA Head-to-Head Rankings and No. 22 in the Golfweek/Sagarin rankings.

Carolina has competed in eight tournaments on the season and has produced two top-five finishes. The Gamecocks have finished inside the top 10 in five tournaments.

Carolina returns to action on April 20-22 in the SEC Championship, which will be held at the Blessings Club in Fayetteville, Ark.
