Women's Golf Announces Addition Of Skylar Thompson

COLUMBIA, S.C. – South Carolina women’s golf coach Kalen Anderson announced the addition of Skylar Thompson for the 2018-19 season Wednesday. Thompson joins England’s Emily Price and Czech Republic’s Hana Ryskova in Carolina’s latest signing class.

• Individual champion at the 2017 Dustin Johnson World Junior Championship
• Third-place finish at the 2017 AJGA Justin Thomas Junior Championship
• Fourth-place showing at the 2016 Trusted Choice Big “I” National Championship
• 2016 Drive, Chip and Putt National Finalist
• 2016 Trusted Choice Big “I” Long Drive Champion
• 2015 U.S. Girls’ Junior Participant
• 3A Individual Regional Champion while at Buford High School
• National Honor Society President
• National Senior Beta Club Member
• English National Honor Society Member

• Plans to major in Sport and Entertainment Management
