South Carolina Women's Golf Team Finishes 14th in Bryan National Collegiate Tournament

Browns Summit, North Carolina - The University of South Carolina women's golf team shot a 928 (+64) over the three rounds of the Bryan National Collegiate Tournament to finish in 14th place. Duke captured its fourth consecutive Bryan team title with a three-day total of 869 (+10). The Blue Devils also captured the individual championship when Elizabeth Janangelo came from eighth place to first on a two-under-par performance Sunday and won the 54-hole individual tournament with a two-under par 214.
Team captain Adrienne Gautreaux was the low Gamecock for the weekend as the senior shot a 75 Sunday to finish in a tie for 24th place with a 226 (+10). Sophomore Erica Battle earned a share of 39th place with her three-day total of 230 (+14) while senior Kory Thompson finished in a tie for 54th place with a 234 (+18). Freshman Jenna Pearson shot a 242 over the three-day event to finish 76th while Megan Miller finished 84th (247 (+31).
Co-hosted by Wake Forest and North Carolina-Greensboro, the seventh annual Bryan National Collegiate takes place at the par 72, 6064 yard Bryan Park Champions Course in Browns Summit, North Carolina.
South Carolina returns to the course for the Southeastern Conference Championships in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, April 16-18th.
