Gamecocks Celebrate Olympic Night Friday at Colonial Life Arena
Head coach Dawn Staley has invited some of her former Olympic teammates and coaches to sign autographs and attend Friday's game against Stanford.

COLUMBIA, S.C. - University of South Carolina women's basketball head coach Dawn Staley has invited her former Olympic teammates and coaches to attend the Gamecocks game against No. 3/4 Stanford on Fri., Dec. 19, at Colonial Life Arena. Headlining the group is Anne Donovan, who has served as the U.S. Senior National Team head coach for the last two years, including the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, at which the team won the gold medal. After a meet-and-greet with season-ticket holders, the Olympians will sign autographs in the main atrium from 6:15-6:45 p.m. The Olympians will also be recognized at halftime of the game.
