Took over the No. 3 spot in the singles lineup and turned in a 9-5 record in the position ... Ranked as high as No. 32 in the nation in doubles with Tsvetan Mihov as the duo went 13-9 on the season, playing together from the fall through February ... Freshman Year (2011-12)
Joined the team in January and immediately found a spot in the dual-match singles lineup, playing in the Nos. 4 and 5 spots in the order ... Was second on the team with four singles wins in SEC action ... Earned his first singles national ranking (No. 117) for the final two weeks of March ... Picked up a win in his SEC Tournament debut against Auburn (Apr. 19) ... Helped set up the emotion team win at archrival Clemson (Mar. 14) with a second-set tiebreak victory in the No. 5 spot for the Gamecocks' third point of the match ... Earned one of the team's two points against Tennessee (Mar. 4) with a third-set super-tiebreak win in his No. 6 match ... Posted his first win over a ranked opponent with a 6-4, 6-4 result against No. 47 Hernus Pieters of Georgia (Mar. 2) to score the team's lone point against the sixth-ranked Bulldogs ... Was the final match on court in a 3-3 match at Wake Forest (Feb. 9), rallying to win this third-set tiebreaker to stretch the team's win streak to seven matches ... Won his first seven dual-match singles contests, including a 6-0, 6-0 win in his dual-match debut against Wofford (Jan. 21).
