Finished season as part of the nation's 29th-ranked doubles team with Nick Jones ... Competed in the NCAA Doubles Championship ... Posted a 6-4 record against nationally ranked duos in doubles, including a 5-4 mark with Jones, among his season total of 15-12 on the doubles court ... Went an even 12-12 in singles in dual matches ... Clinched the doubles point in the regular-season finale at Florida as he and Jones upset the nation's ninth-ranked tandem at the top of the lineup ... Won his first six outings in dual-match play ... Sealed the team win against Coastal Carolina with a straight-set win at No. 4 singles ... Sparked the team's rally to defeat then-No. 22 Georgia Tech, winning 12 of the final 13 games to turn a 1-5 first-set deficit into a 7-5, 6-1 win in the No. 4 spot to even the match a 2-2 ... Closed the fall with a strong showing at the ITA Carolina Regional, advancing to the round of 32 in singles before falling to a top-50 foe.
Freshman Year (2010-11)
Joined the team in January and won his first three singles matches ... Led the team with 10 dual-match singles wins, including three in SEC action ... Posted a team-best nine doubles win in dual matches as well, teaming with junior Alexander Kostanov for five of those ... Played largely in the No. 3 singles spot ... Turned in a 3-1 record in three-set matches and was 2-0 in 10-point tiebreakers to decide matches ... Took No. 80 Nassim Slilam of Florida to three sets in the season finale ... Picked up his first win over a ranked player with a three-set comeback win over No. 100 Alberto Gonzalez of Kentucky ... Won his three-set battle with Kevin Galloway of archrival Clemson ... Scored the team's lone point against Auburn, outlasting Daniel Cochrane in a 10-point tiebreaker ... Collected his first collegiate win in his debut against Wofford, yielding just three games over the two-set match.
