Dallas - The South Carolina men's swimming & diving team finished fourth in the SMU Classic in Dallas. Istvan Bathazi continued to lead the team today in the competition against some of the top programs in the country taking home second place in both the 200 IM (3:53.92) and the 400 IM (1:50.44).

The Gamecocks (266) came in behind Florida (359), Texas A&M (329), and SMU (314). Florida continued their domination of the tournament today with Texas A&M finishing close behind. Florida swimmer Ryan Lochte was named Outstanding Swimmer for his performances over the past two days and SMU diver was named Outstanding Diver.

The Gamecocks return to dual action meet on January 30 hosting Alabama.
