Nov. 13, 2017

The South Carolina Gamecocks and Clemson Tigers will renew their annual rivalry on Saturday, November 25, with a 7:30 pm kickoff in Columbia, the Southeastern Conference office announced today. The game will be televised nationally on ESPN.

In addition, the SEC Network’s traveling pregame show, SEC Nation Presented by Pilot Flying J, will travel to Columbia for the annual Palmetto Bowl. Airing live from 10 am – noon, the show will delve into the storylines of SEC football, the College Football Playoff rankings and more before the teams kick off at Williams-Brice Stadium.

The show includes live reports, analysis and features surrounding the world of SEC football, as well as special appearances from hometown favorites throughout the season. Laura Rutledge hosts the traveling pregame show, navigating the Saturday morning conversations with analysts Tim Tebow, Marcus Spears and Paul Finebaum, along with reporter Lauren Sisler.

This will be SEC Nation’s third time in Columbia and the Gamecocks’ sixth total appearance on the show. This is the first time SEC Nation has traveled to Columbia for the Palmetto Bowl.

In addition to the live show Saturday, the University of South Carolina will play host Friday to The Paul Finebaum Show, which airs from 2-3 p.m. on ESPN2 and 3-7 p.m. on SEC Network. Fans are invited to catch all five hours of #FinebaumFriday from the set.

The Tigers lead the all-time series by a 68-42-4 count, including a 50-32-3 advantage when the game is played in Columbia. Carolina has won five of the last eight meetings in the series.
