    USC Encourages Fans to Attend the State Fair Prior to the Kentucky Game
    Carolina hosts Kentucky on ESPN Thurday, Oct. 9 at Williams-Brice Stadium.  Fans with tickets to the game can go to the State Fair free that day between the hours of 2 p.m. - 7 p.m.

    Columbia, S.C. - The University of South Carolina Athletics Department and the South Carolina State Fair Association are teaming up to help fans go to the State Fair next Thursday, Oct. 9, the same day that the Gamecocks host the Kentucky Wildcats in a Prime Time Thursday night football game televised by ESPN.

    Those fans who present their tickets to the USC-UK football game will be admitted to the State Fair free next Thursday between the hours of 2 p.m. - 7 p.m. Kickoff for the football game is 7:30 p.m.

    Fans are encouraged to visit the State Fair and then come over to Williams-Brice Stadium for the game. A reminder that there is no reserved parking in the State Fairgrounds for the football game and all parking in that area is on a first-come, first-serve basis.
