Preseason Practice Central | Buy Tickets

The South Carolina Gamecocks worked out for a little over 90 minutes Friday afternoon in helmets and shorts after enjoying an off day from the practice fields on Thursday. The Gamecocks are beginning their final preparations for next Thursday's season opener against Southern Miss. That contest will kick at 7:36 p.m. on Sept. 2 with a national television audience watching on ESPN.

The Gamecocks will return to the practice fields on Saturday at 6 p.m.

Here's the week's practice schedule:

Saturday, August 28 - 6 p.m.

Sunday, August 29 - 6 p.m.

Monday, August 30 - 7 p.m.

Tuesday, August 31 - 4:15 p.m.

Coach Spurrier's first weekly press conference will be held at noon on Tuesday, August 31 in the media room, located on the west side of Williams-Brice Stadium.
