COLUMBIA, S.C. - South Carolina topped the 2013-14 Southeastern Conference First-Year Academic Honor Roll for the seventh-straight year, with 97 student-athletes earning the accolade this year, the conference released on Friday.
A total of 820 student-athletes were named to the first-year listing, running the year's total to 3,270 student-athletes to gain a spot on one of the four honor rolls. South Carolina, with 336 student-athletes making one of the four releases, stands as the only member of the SEC with over 300 student-athletes making the list.
