Senior who provides depth at the tailback position and could also be used in the return game on special teams... very quick player who has a burst... has rushed for 242 yards on 46 carries during his career, an average of 5.3 yards per rush... has the fourth-longest run from scrimmage in school history - an 88-yard scamper against Middle Tennessee in 2006 - to his credit... was the first player signed by Steve Spurrier at Carolina... has made one career start.
2007: Did not see any game action after being hampered by injuries... suffered a fractured right clavicle during the fall two-a-days.
2006: Saw action in seven games... carried five times for 107 yards with a touchdown... had one carry in both the Vanderbilt and Arkansas games... entered the Middle Tennessee game late in the contest and had three carries... broke loose for an 88-yard touchdown run, the fourth-longest run in school history and the longest since Brandon Bennett went 89 yards against East Tennessee in 1991... only Bennett, Ben Garnto (89 against Wake Forest in 1965) and Steve Wadiak (a school record 96-yard run against George Washington in 1950) have had longer rushes from scrimmage... added two receptions for 29 yards.
2005: Carried 41 times for 135 yards as a true freshman... also caught eight passes for 42 yards... started in his first collegiate game against Central Florida... notched his first three career receptions against Alabama for 25 yards... carried a season-high seven times in the win over Troy... also had seven carries in the bowl game against Missouri... had his best game against Clemson when he carried six times for a season-high 51 yards, including a 14-yard burst, his longest of the campaign.
HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Conway (S.C.) High School in 2005... played for Coach Chuck Jordan... helped his team to the state championship game three times... named to the Class AAAA All-State Team as a running back by High School Sports Report and was its Class AAAA Offensive Player of the Year... a finalist for South Carolina's Mr. Football... ran for 1,903 yards and 22 TDs on 247 attempts for an average of 7.7 yards a carry in 2004... also caught 18 passes for 215 yards and three scores... as a junior he rushed for 2,128 yards on 277 carries and tallied 26 touchdowns and had 271 yards receiving with five TD catches... his sophomore year he ran for 1,060 yards on 153 carries and scored seven times... totaled 5,151 rushing yards and 55 rushing TDs as a prep... also had 629 yards receiving with eight receiving TDs and scored four TDs on returns... named Offensive MVP for the South in the 2004 North-South All-Star Game after rushing for 83 yards and a TD while catching three passes for 30 yards... rated the 20th-best all-purpose back in the country and the 21st-best player in the state of South Carolina by Rivals.com... rated the 19th-best player in the state by High School Sports Report... rated the 15th-best player in the state of South Carolina by the Herald Journal... rated the 24th-best player in the state of South Carolina by SuperPrep... rated the 61st-best player in the Mid-Atlantic by Tom Lemming.
