    Junior who has moved between the defensive end and the outside linebacker positions... enters the fall listed on the third team at strong side linebacker behind Casper Brinkley and Gerrod Sinclair... physically gifted player who needs to gain consistency in his play... was an SEC All-Freshman selection in 2005 after tying for the team lead with 3.5 sacks in just nine games... has made one career start.

    2006: Made the transition from defensive end to outside linebacker... played in 11 of 13 games... made his first career start against Florida Atlantic, replacing an injured Cody Wells... credited with six tackles, including four solo stops on the season... five of his six tackles came against Wofford... saved that game when, with the Terriers threatening to score from the 10-yard line with just seconds remaining, he batted a pitch into the air that was recovered by Wells.

    2005: Was impressive early in camp as a true freshman before being sidelined with a serious staph infection in his left knee that required hospitalization... considered redshirting and sat out the first three games before taking off the redshirt in game four against Troy... played in the final nine games logging 13 tackles... despite his limited playing time, still tied for the team lead with 3.5 sacks, accounting for 26 lost yards... recovered a fumble and registered his first career sack against Troy in his first collegiate game... figured in on a season-high four stops in the Independence Bowl game against Missouri.

    HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Oakcrest High School in Mays Landing, N.J. in 2005... was a U.S. Army All-American, named to the first-team all-state, All-South Jersey and Cape Atlantic League squads... was the Atlantic Press Player of the Year... totaled 95 tackles and had eight sacks as a senior ... Atlantic Press Player of the Year... played in the New York/New Jersey All-Star Game... rated as the 24th-best player in the state of New Jersey by Rivals.com.
