Senior who is trying to make a comeback from an Achilles injury that caused him to miss the final half of the 2005 season and all of the 2006 spring drills... versatile athlete who could see action at wide receiver, quarterback and tailback.

2005: Was a key playmaker on the 2005 squad before suffering a season-ending injury in the win over Vanderbilt... versatile athlete who was at his best with the ball in his hands... lined up at three positions - wide receiver, quarterback and tailback - for the Gamecocks in 2005... caught a career-best and a team-high six passes for 63 yards, including a 25-yard scoring reception, in the opener against UCF... the touchdown was the first receiving TD of his career... caught five passes for 74 yards including a 35-yard score against Troy... played quarterback late in the Kentucky game, completing his only pass and rushing three times for 49 yards, including a 32-yard run and a 16-yard TD scamper... named the SEC Offensive Player of the Week for his efforts against Vanderbilt... rushed 15 times for 80 yards and a touchdown, completed 3-of-4 passes for 46 yards and two scores and caught one pass for eight yards... suffered a torn Achilles' tendon in his left leg when scoring the touchdown early in the fourth quarter and was lost for the remainder of the season... underwent surgery on October 26... moved from quarterback to receiver during spring practice and was recognized with the team's offensive Unselfish Award.

2004: Came out of fall camp as the #2 quarterback behind Dondrial Pinkins... was thrust into the starting lineup when Pinkins went down with a shoulder injury in the third week of the season... played in all 11 games with five starts - USF, Ole Miss, Kentucky, Florida and Clemson... Completed 70-of-131 passes for 1,093 yards, six touchdowns and six interceptions... was impressive in his first start vs. South Florida, completing 13-of-23 passes for 324 yards and three touchdowns of 56, 55 and 73 yards to wide receiver Troy Williamson... split time with Dondrial Pinkins in the win over Troy, completing 10-of-14 passes for 98 yards and one TD... scored two rushing TDs in the win over Alabama... was 12-of-27 for 291 yards and one touchdown vs. Ole Miss in his first SEC start... also ran for 65 yards in that game, including an electrifying 38-yard touchdown run... suffered a left ankle sprain early in the 2nd quarter vs. Kentucky and was unable to return... did not practice the open date week and was limited in his reps during the week leading up to the Tennessee game... was limited against the Vols, completing 4-of-7 passes for 35 yards with one interception... came on in relief against Arkansas... led USC to a comeback 35-32 win by completing 11-of-16 passes for 98 yards including a game-winning 14-yard pass to Troy Williamson with 1:09 remaining.

2003: True freshman who made a significant impact on the squad... worked at quarterback during preseason camp but was moved to receiver prior to the start of the season to get on the field... finished as the team's third leading receiver with 22 catches for 277 yards... also returned three kickoffs for 60 yards... had a long reception of 44 yards vs. Kentucky and vs. LSU... played in all 12 games with one start (vs. Ole Miss)... carried the ball four times for 44 yards, with a long gainer of 32 yards vs. Louisiana-Lafayette... had a season-best three catches for 85 yards vs. LSU... played quarterback on the final offensive series vs. Clemson and completed 1-of-2 passes for 18 yards.

HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Marlboro County High School in 2003... was an all-state quarterback for Coach Dean Boyd... was the South's MVP in the North-South All-Star Game... as a senior, he ran for 1,029 yards and scored 15 touchdowns and completed 63-of-143 passes for 933 yards and five TDs... led the state in scoring his junior year and was fourth in rushing behind the state's top three running backs... In 2001, he passed for more than 1,700 yards and 23 touchdowns while rushing for 1,923 yards and 24 scores... rated the #2 prospect in the state by rated the #5 quarterback prospect in the country by SuperPrep... rated the #7 quarterback and the #45 best overall prospect nationally by Tom Lemming.
