Had three tackles (2/1) ... Saw action in three of the last four games of the season, as his playing time gradually increased.

JUNIOR COLLEGE -- Recorded 40 tackles and had six interceptions his first season at Jones County (Miss.) ... Had 53 tackles and six interceptions his final year at Jones County ... Played for Coach Parker Dykes.

HIGH SCHOOL -- Played quarterback, wide receiver and defensive back at Dillon High School ... Rushed for 21 touchdowns and threw for 11 TDs his junior season ... Was ranked among the top 10 South Carolina athletes by The Deep South Recruiting Guide ... Originally signed with South Carolina in 1999 ... Played in the Shrine Bowl ...
