2002 --Had a break out junior campaign ... Made the move from the spur position to cornerback at the beginning of spring practice and the switch worked like a charm ... Named the team's Most Outstanding Defensive Back during spring practice ... Finished the year with a team-leading four interceptions ... Also had 49 tackles (37 solo), two tackles for loss and a team-best 10 pass break ups ... Made his first career interception in the win over Temple, returning it 34 yards ... Was outstanding vs. Mississippi State, with two interceptions, five tackles and two pass break ups ... Against Kentucky, he had one interception and made five tackles ... Played a team-high 72 defensive plays vs. LSU, making five tackles and breaking up a pass ... Against Tennessee, he had eight tackles (seven solo) and broke up two passes ... Strained his elbow vs. the Vols but was able to come back the next week and play against Arkansas ... Made seven tackles vs. the Razorbacks ... His four interceptions were tied for fourth most in the SEC.
2001 -- True sophomore defensive back who played the spur position ... Appeared in 11 games on the year ... Also participated in special teams ... Made 10 tackles (7/3) ... Had a season-high three tackles vs. Mississippi State ... Is being counted on to step up and be a real contributor in 2002.
2000 -- True freshman defensive back who appeared in nine games as a backup and special teams member ... Played primarily at safety ... Made five total tackles, including two against Eastern Michigan.
HIGH SCHOOL -- A three-year starter at defensive back, running back and wide receiver at Clarke Central ... Had four interceptions and broke up eight passes as a senior ... Rushed for six touchdowns from his running back position ... Ran back a punt and kickoff for touchdowns ... Played for Coach Steve Brooks.
