Junior offensive tackle who did not participate in spring drills while continuing his recovering from right shoulder surgery... expected to battle for playing time in the fall if he is back at full strength... listed third on the depth chart at left tackle entering the fall, but can also play on the right side... local product from Columbia's Spring Valley High School has made five career starts.

2009: Sophomore offensive lineman battled with Hutch Eckerson for playing time at the right tackle position... played in eight contests starting five... made his first career start in the season-opening win at NC State... held the starting right tackle spot for the first four games... moved to a backup role behind Eckerson for the next seven contests before regaining the starting assignment in the regular season finale against Clemson... did not participate in the bowl game after undergoing right shoulder surgery in December.

2008: Appeared in all 13 games, primarily working on special teams... also wore number 93 in a tight end-eligible situation.

2007: Redshirted as a true freshman.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2007 graduate of Columbia's Spring Valley High... a knee injury cost him much of his senior season... still garnered third-team all-state honors from The State... was a standout at the Offense-Defense All-Star Game... graded out at 86 percent with 78 knockdown blocks as a junior... regarded as a four-star prospect, the fifth-best player in the state, the eighth-best offensive tackle in the nation and the 99th best-player in the country overall by ranked as a four-star prospect and the 20th-best offensive tackle in the nation by rated the nation's 19th-best offensive lineman and the sixth-best player in South Carolina by SuperPrep.
