Walk-on who joined the squad in the spring of 2006... adds depth at the strong safety position... recorded an interception in the 2007 Garnet & Black spring game.

2006: Squadman who worked with the scout team... joined the team in the spring.

2004-05: Enrolled at South Carolina but did not play football.

High School: Graduated from Lexington (S.C.) High School in 2004... coached by Jimmy Satterfield... recognized as the Defensive MVP his senior year.. three-time Player of the Week, earned all-region honors his junior and senior years... also competed for the track & field team.

Personal: Paul Douglas Peterson, Jr. was born Feb. 7, 1986... majoring in business... member of multiple academic honor societies and enjoys going to church.
