Walk-on quarterback who has impressed the coaches enough to figure in the mix with Connor Mitch and Brendan Nosovitch for the No. 2 signal-caller role behind senior Dylan Thompson... recognized in the spring as the "Most Improved" quarterback and earned the "Big Plays" award for the offense during the 2014 spring drills.

2013: Quarterback who enrolled at Carolina in January and joined the football squad in time for spring practices.

2012: Spent the fall semester at Florida State College, a community college in Jacksonville... did not play football.

HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Ponte Vedra (Fla.) High School in 2012... coached by Mike Loyd... helped his team to the district title as a senior... set school records for both a season (2011) and career in passing yards, completion percentage and touchdown passes... played in the 2011 Shrine Bowl in Jacksonville... threw for 1,800 yards and a school-record 17 touchdowns in his junior season when he was second-team all-district and all-conference... also played baseball, starting for the varsity team as an eighth grader... hit .475 in 2012 while helping his team to a runnerup finish in the Florida state 5A division...was an honor roll student.
