HIGH SCHOOL: A two-time All-Southwestern 4A tight end who had 25 catches for 524 yards and five touchdowns as a senior, playing for Ardrey Kell and Knights' coach Adam Hastings... graduated from the Charlotte area high school in 2011... logged 14 catches for 221 yards and four touchdowns as a junior in a run-oriented offense... given a three-star rating, the 13th-best prospect in the state of North Carolina and the nation's 19th-best tight end, according to Rivals.com... rated a three-star prospect and the nation's 23rd-best tight end by Scout.com... a three-star prospect, according to 247Sports.com... also made visits to Michigan, North Carolina and NC State in addition to numerous other scholarship offers.
