Walk-on who adds depth to the fullback position... could also help on special teams.

2011: Walk-on who moved from linebacker to fullback during fall camp to provide needed depth at the position... saw action in five games on special teams, playing against Kentucky, Mississippi State, Tennessee, Arkansas and The Citadel... notched one tackle against the Razorbacks... did not participate in spring drills.

2010: Joined the program as a walk-on linebacker in the fall.

2009: Attended Wake Tech Community College in Raleigh, N.C.

HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Garner (N.C.) Magnet High School in 2009... coached by Nelson Smith... lettered three years in football... named the top defensive player in the conference, was a two-time first-team all-league performer and was a first-team all-academic selection... team won the conference title and reached the fourth round of the playoffs... turned down a scholarship offer from Fayetteville State.

PERSONAL: Connor Keith McLaurin is a biology major at South Carolina... parents are Howard McLaurin and Diane Hancock... father played football at East Carolina.
