2002 PRESEASON ? One of the veteran leaders on defense ... Came out of the spring as one of the starters at the spur position ... Hard hitter with excellent work ethic ... Had a terrific spring and played well in the Spring Game, with six tackles, two pass breakups and an interception he returned 49 yards for a touchdown.

2001 ? Valuable defender who excelled at the spur position and also on special teams ... Played in all 12 games ... Had 64 total tackles on the year (46/18) ... Had three tackles for loss, one fumble recovery, one caused fumble and blocked one kick ... Had five tackles in the win over Georgia ... Had nine tackles in win over Alabama and also had nine stops in victory over Wofford ... Had two tackles for loss in win over Vanderbilt ... Recovered a fumble against Alabama ... Blocked a field goal attempt against Kentucky ... Had five tackles , including two for loss, in the Outback Bowl triumph over Ohio State ... Has developed into a excellent all-around player who has overcome two knee injuries during his college career ... Should contend for a starting role in 2002 ... 2000 ? Backup defender who also played extensively on the special teams ... Played in all 12 games ... Started the season opener vs. New Mexico State ... 1999 ? Suffered his second consecutive season-ending injury during two-a-day camp as he tore ligaments in his knee which required surgery and kept him out the remainder of the year ... Had a solid spring camp, coming out of spring drills listed as the No. 2 fullback behind Antione Nesmith.

1998 ? A running back prospect who was redshirted ... Suffered a broken leg during preseason camp.

HIGH SCHOOL ? All-state selection ... Led state in rushing in 1996 and was second in 1997 ... Career stats include 4,910 yards rushing, 50 touchdowns and 21 straight games of over 100 yards rushing ... His senior year, he rushed for 2,154 yards and 25 touchdowns, while his junior season he rushed for 2,151 yards and 19 scores ... All-South Carolina selection by SuperPrep and First Down Recruiting ... Played for Coach Joe Wingard at Richland Northeast High School.
