2010: Played in 11 games, including his first career start at Florida... credited with a dozen tackles and one pass breakup... played primarily on special teams throughout early part of the season but worked his way into the rotation at cornerback following stellar play on the punt coverage team... given a game ball for his special teams effort against Tennessee... saw his first extended action at cornerback vs. Arkansas and responded with a career-high four tackles... matched his career high with four tackles vs. Troy; also broke up a pass in the game... had an excellent spring when he was named the Outstanding Walk-On for the defense.
2009: Walk-on who joined the squad in August... missed most of the season after suffering a broken arm.
2008: Competed with the track & field team but did not play football... earned All-America honors as part of the 4x100 meter relay... ran season bests of 10.41 and 21.18 in the 100 and 200-meters respectively at the NCAA East Regional Championships... indoors, logged a season-best 6.79 60m at the Tyson Invitational... ran a season-best 21.49 200m in the preliminary round of the SEC Indoors... outdoors, was a silver medalist at the NCAA East Regionals as anchor leg of relay that ran a 39.39... placed sixth at USA Junior Nationals in the 200m at 21.54.
2007: Enrolled at the University of South Carolina on a track scholarship.
HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from York (S.C.) Comprehensive High School in 2007... coached by John Barrett in football and Joey Moore in track... helped his football team to a region title in its first year in AAAA... also competed in track & field... nominated for the Wendy's High School Heisman... earned all-region and all-state honors... was a state champion in the 400 meters and 4x1 relay as a senior...also placed third in the 100 and sixth in the 200... named the Spartanburg Herald Track Athlete of the Year... also had track offers from Georgia Tech, Tennessee, Clemson and Coastal Carolina.
