Senior defensive end returns for his final campaign after taking a redshirt season in 2007... enters the fall listed atop the depth chart at a defensive end position... brings toughness to the entire defensive unit... plays the run well and could move inside on long-yardage situations... played in 33 games from 2004-06... last appearance came in the 2006 Liberty Bowl win over Houston when he was named Carolina's Outstanding Defensive Player after intercepting a pass and recovering a fumble... in fact, both of his interceptions have come in bowl games... has made 69 career tackles, including 51 solo stops... also has forced three fumbles and has recovered two... has made 15 career starts.
