2007: Slowed most of the season with a right knee injury that he suffered during the spring game... underwent surgery on the knee in April... played at Georgia in Game 2, his first game experience since the 2005 Independence Bowl... re-injured his knee in that contest and did not play again... named the Most Improved Inside Linebacker following spring drills.
2006: Took a redshirt season... worked with the scout team.
2005: Played in all 12 games, starting four contests... ranked third on the squad with 58 tackles, including 36 solo stops... had 6.5 tackles for loss, including a pair of sacks... led the team with six tackles against Troy, including five solo stops... figured into the receiving stats when he caught a tipped pass on a fake punt attempt at Auburn... the play lost four yards... recovered a fumble against Kentucky... made his first career start against Vanderbilt... responded with a team-high 10 tackles, including eight solo stops... led the team with nine tackles against Tennessee... logged 35 tackles in his four starts (8.75 tackles per start)... recognized as the co-winner of the team's defensive Everyday Effort Award during the spring.
2004: True freshman linebacker who appeared in eight games... played primarily on special teams... credited with four tackles.
HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Davidson High School in Mobile, Ala.... played for coach Glenn Vickery... totaled 162 tackles, eight quarterback sacks and two interceptions as a senior... named co-Defensive Player of the Year in southwest Alabama... one of three finalist for the Defensive Lineman of the Year in the state of Alabama.
PERSONAL: Dustin A. Lindsey was born Dec. 24, 1985... working on a degree in criminal justice... is the twin brother of Gamecock defensive end Jordin Lindsey.
