Senior who figures to be in the mix for the starting spot at one of the safety positions... listed on the second team at strong safety entering the fall but can play either safety position... regarded as a very intelligent player... understands the schemes and plays like a coach on the field... has made 16 career starts.

2006: Played in all 13 games making 11 starts... tied for eighth on the team with 36 tackles... logged his first career interception in the season-opener at Mississippi State... also had a sack in that contest... had his second interception of the season and of his career in the loss to Georgia in Week 2... had a season-high six tackles versus Kentucky and Vanderbilt.
