Redshirt freshman defensive end who will not participate this spring while rehabbing from knee surgery performed last fall.

2011: Redshirted as a true freshman... was not part of the 105 roster at the start of camp while dealing with a knee injury that required surgery.

HIGH SCHOOL: Lemuel Deon Green is a big defensive tackle from Orlando's Olympia High School... recorded 68 tackles, 14 tackles for loss, a pair of sacks and two fumble recoveries as a senior... earned a spot on the Orlando Sentinel's All-Orange County and All-Central Florida first teams after his senior season... selected to play in the Central Florida All-Star game following the season... logged 75 tackles including 25 tackles for loss and six sacks as a junior... given a three-star rating and named the nation's 50th-best defensive tackle by Rivals.com... regarded as a three-star prospect and the 49th-best defensive tackle by Scout.com... three-star prospect, according to 247Sports.com... named to PrepStar's All-Southeast Region class... had over 20 scholarship offers from which to choose with USF, Penn State and Ole Miss making the short list... grew up in Bowman, S.C., just outside Orangeburg, before moving to Orlando for his freshman year of high school.
