Redshirt freshman tight end who is a two-sport performer at South Carolina... joined Frank Martin's men's basketball team in January and did not participate in spring football drills, as the cagers advanced to the Final Four.

2016: Redshirted as a true freshman tight end... joined the South Carolina men's basketball team after the bowl game and saw action in eight contests... scored nine points with five rebounds in limited action for a squad that advanced to the Final Four for the first time in school history.

HIGH SCHOOL: Versatile two-sport standout from Deltona (Fla.) High School... graduated in 2016... played all over the gridiron during his prep career... coached by Allen Johnson... helped the Wolves to a 6-4 record in 2015... earned honorable mention Class 6A all-state recognition... caught 24 passes for 465 yards and six touchdowns while making 35 tackles, including eight tackles for loss and five sacks, as a senior... logged 500 receiving yards, 11 touchdowns and 15 sacks as a junior... an excellent high school basketball player... averaged 23.5 points, 6.8 rebounds and 4.7 assists per game as a junior when he was the Daytona Beach News-Journal's Player of the Year... rated the 18th-best tight end in the nation by 247Sports...
