2007: Played in all 12 games, making four starts... caught 13 passes for 168 yards, an average of 12.9 yards per catch... had a reception in each of the first four games of the season and in each of the final three contests... had five catches through nine games, then caught eight passes over the final three games... season highs were four receptions against Florida and 37 yards receiving versus Clemson... caught a 27-yard pass against LSU, the longest of his career to that point... shared Most Improved Wide Receiver honors in the spring with Mike West.
2006: Missed the season opener with an ankle injury, then played in the remaining 12 contests as a true freshman... caught nine passes for 74 yards... made his first and only collegiate start against Kentucky... had a season-high four receptions in that contest... also had two carries, both against Wofford, for 11 yards.
High School: Graduated from Westside High School in Anderson, S.C., where he was coached by Ted Luckadoo... two-time all-region selection at wide receiver and one-time honoree at cornerback... competed for the South Carolina team in the 2005 Shrine Bowl, alongside fellow Gamecocks Garrett Anderson and Rodney Paulk... three-star prospect according to Rivals.com... the web site also listed him as the No. 56 wide receiver in the nation and the No. 13 player at any position in the state of South Carolina... led Westside to an 11-2 record and a regional championship... also competed for the Westside track & field team, earning all-region and all-state honors in the triple jump... was part of the Westside shuttle hurdle relay squad that set new indoor and outdoor national records.
