Deep snapper who is going through his second spring with the Gamecocks... walk-on who will compete for duties as a long snapper in his redshirt junior season.

2016: Served as a backup deep snapper... did not see any game action.

2015: Enrolled at South Carolina but did not participate in football.

2014: Played tight end at Berry College in Rome, Ga... appeared in three games as a true freshman...saw action versus Rhodes, Washington (Mo.) and at Birmingham Southern... the Vikings posted a 2-8 campaign.

HIGH SCHOOL:Graduated from Holy Innocents' Episcopal in Atlanta in 2014... coached by Ryan Livezey... was a four-year letterwinner... named team captain as a senior... helped the Golden Bears to four playoff appearances and a playoff win as a senior.

PERSONAL: Benjamin Douglas Asbury was born June 6, 1995... is a psychology major.
