Men's Hoops Travels To Auburn For Saturday Afternoon Contest

The South Carolina men's basketball team (8-9, 0-3 SEC) resumes SEC play when it travels to face Auburn (11-7, 1-3 SEC) on Saturday in the Auburn Arena. Tip time for the contest is set for 1:47 p.m. ET, with a pre-game show on the SEC Network prior to tip. Carter Blackburn and Kara Lawson will handle the call.

The previous season low was two blocks, which happened twice, at Elon and vs. Vanderbilt. 21 - Due to foul trouble, South Carolina's inside core of Anthony Gill and Damontre Harris played just a combined 21 minutes in the second half vs. Florida. Scouting Auburn
The Tigers are led by second-year head coach Tony Barbee and enter Saturday's game with an 11-7 overall record, including a 1-3 mark in league games. Auburn's last two contests have gone to overtime, the first a 69-68 double OT win over Ole Miss, and most recently a 65-58 loss on the road at LSU on Tuesday. Junior guard Frankie Sullivan leads four in double-figures with 12.0 points per game, while senior forward Kenny Gabriel leads the team and ranks fifth in the SEC with 8.1 rebounds per outing. Auburn ranks fourth in the SEC with 5.6 blocks per game, with Gabriel second in the league with 2.7 per game. Auburn is 10-1 in home games this season.

- Auburn holds an 18-14 upperhand in the all-time series between the two schools, but the series is tied at 7-7 in games played at Auburn.
