Christian Walker was a Double-A All-Star with Bowie before being promoted to Triple-A and the Norfolk Tides. He was named the Brooks Robinson Minor League Player of the Year in the Orioles organization. Walker made his MLB debut on September 17 and collected his first hit, a double in the victory for the Orioles. The Orioles have clinched the AL East.

 Whit Merrifield • Omaha Storm Chasers / Kansas City Royals
Merrifield helped lead Triple-A Omaha to Triple-A National Championship. Merrifield hit .340 (109-for-321) for Omaha with 29 RBI and 57 runs scored. He had 28 doubles, three triples and three homers.
 Tyler Webb • Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders / New York Yankees
Tyler Webb was promoted to Scranton/WB after 23 appearances with Double-A Trenton. He has struck out 21 batters in 15.2 innings of work with the RailRiders with seven saves. Webb had 26 strikeouts in 20.0 innings pitched with Scranton/WB.

The Cubs acquired Blake Cooper in a trade on August 15th. Cooper had a 0.87 ERA with Double-A Tennessee in eight relief appearances after the trade. Cooper earned All-Star honors earlier in the year with Double-A Mobile in the Southern League.
 Evan Marzilli • Mobile BayBears / Arizona Diamondbacks
Evan Marzilli hit .246 (70-for-285) for Mobile after being promoted from High-A Visalia. He had 12 doubles, six triples and three homers with 33 runs and 35 RBI.
