    Baseball Returns To The Diamond With Weekend Scrimmages Set For Carolina Stadium Friday's Tilt Will Start At 3 PM
    The South Carolina baseball team will continue fall practice this weekend with scrimmages set to begin on Friday Oct. 16 through Sunday Oct. 18 at Carolina Stadium. Friday's first pitch is set for 3 p.m. with Saturday and Sunday's games scheduled for 1:30 p.m. The scrimmages are open to the public. A reminder also to Gamecock fans, the 2009 Alumni Game will be held on Friday, Oct. 23 with first pitch at 7 p.m. at Carolina Stadium. Admission is also free to the Alumni Game.
